Teens' shoulder injuries: should we operate first?

NCT ID NCT04887337

Summary

This small pilot study aimed to test whether it's practical to run a larger trial comparing two approaches for teens with first-time shoulder dislocations. It planned to see if early surgery or physical therapy works better to prevent the shoulder from popping out again. The study was designed for 12-18 year olds and would have followed them for one year, but it ended early with only two participants.
