Hospital reviews its own practices to reduce pain from popping shoulders back in
NCT ID NCT03154957
Summary
This study looked back at how a hospital emergency department treated patients with dislocated shoulders. Researchers reviewed the care given to 238 adult patients to find ways to standardize treatment and, most importantly, reduce the pain people feel when their shoulder is put back into place. The goal was to create a better, more consistent care plan for future patients with this painful injury.
