New study aims to take the sting out of routine shots
NCT ID NCT07258953
Summary
This study is testing three simple, drug-free methods to make routine vitamin B12 injections less painful and more comfortable. Researchers will compare a plastic device called a ShotBlocker, a technique using a pre-cooled needle, and using both methods together. The goal is to see which approach works best to reduce immediate pain and improve patient satisfaction for 132 adults getting their shots.
