Scientists test cutting TB treatment time in half

Summary

This study aims to see if the standard 6-month treatment for asymptomatic tuberculosis can be safely shortened to 4 or even 3 months. It will enroll 426 people in China who have TB but no symptoms. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the standard treatment or one of the two shorter treatment plans to compare their effectiveness and safety.
