Shorter radiation course could ease treatment burden for uterine cancer patients
NCT ID NCT03422198
Summary
This study is comparing a shorter course of internal radiation to the standard longer course for women with early-stage uterine cancer who have already had surgery. The main goal is to see if the shorter treatment works just as well at controlling the cancer while maintaining or improving patients' quality of life and reducing financial strain. Researchers are also measuring how treatment affects patients' sense of femininity and daily activities.
