Faster radiation treatment tested for rare skin cancer

Summary
This study is testing a shorter, more convenient radiation schedule for people with Merkel cell carcinoma, a rare and aggressive skin cancer. The goal is to see if giving higher doses of radiation over fewer visits is as effective at controlling the cancer and preventing it from coming back. Researchers will track how well the treatment works over two years and monitor any side effects.
