3-Day malaria cure breakthrough trial launches

Summary
This trial is testing whether a much shorter, 3-day treatment can completely cure relapsing malaria. It will involve over 1,000 people aged 5 and older who have the infection. The goal is to find a safer, easier-to-complete cure that could change global treatment guidelines.
