7-Day stomach bug cure? new trial tests faster treatment
NCT ID NCT07232095
Summary
This study is testing if a new 7-day treatment for a common stomach bacteria (H. pylori) works as well as the current 14-day standard. Researchers are adding a bismuth medication to a two-drug combo to see if it makes the shorter course effective. The goal is to find a faster, easier treatment that still gets rid of the infection.
