Study aims to cut unnecessary antibiotics for vulnerable kids

NCT ID NCT06364514

Summary

This study is testing whether doctors can safely give shorter courses of antibiotics to children with complex medical conditions who get pneumonia. Instead of a standard fixed length, treatment will be tailored to stop when each child is clinically stable. The goal is to reduce overall antibiotic exposure while ensuring safety for these vulnerable patients.
