First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looked at whether infants with supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) can safely stop heart medication after 4 months instead of the usual longer period. Researchers followed 107 infants aged 6 months or younger to see how many had a return of fast heart rate. The goal is to find a shorter, effective treatment that reduces medication side effects.
