Short workouts boost breathing and mood in women with lung disease

NCT ID NCT07604961

First seen May 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026

Summary

This study looked at whether a four-week program of breathing exercises, aerobic exercise, or both could improve lung strength, walking ability, and well-being in women with stable COPD. 68 women took part and were split into five groups, including a placebo and a usual-care group. Researchers measured changes right after training and again two weeks later to see if benefits lasted.
