Summary
This study tracks 800 stroke patients to see how quickly and effectively high-dose statins lower their cholesterol. Researchers aim to find out why some people respond better than others, so treatment can be tailored to each patient. Participants must start intensive statin therapy within 24 hours of hospital admission and continue for at least one week.
