First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at whether a short, 14-day program of isometric exercises for the tongue, jaw, and back muscles could help people who recently had a stroke. Twelve patients did two sessions each day. After two weeks, their tongue and back strength improved, and the muscles worked together better. Jaw strength did not change much.
