Can 40 seconds of exercise a week make you fitter?
NCT ID NCT07328568
Summary
This study is testing if a very small amount of intense exercise can improve heart and lung fitness in people who are inactive. Sixty adults will either do a special bike sprint workout twice a week or not exercise at all for nine weeks. Researchers will measure fitness, how the body uses energy, and whether people enjoy the short workouts to see if this is a practical way to get healthier.
