New study: faster radiation after spine surgery may improve cancer control

Summary
This study tests giving radiation therapy (SBRT) soon after spine surgery, while patients are still in the hospital, instead of waiting 2-4 weeks. The goal is to see if this faster approach reduces wound problems and helps control tumor growth. About 50 adults with cancer that spread to the spine will take part.
