First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests whether a short course of radiation followed by a drug called ivonescimab can eliminate tumors in people with a specific type of mid-to-low rectal cancer. About 30 adults who have not had prior treatment will receive radiation for 5 days, then the drug every 3 weeks for up to 6 cycles. The goal is to see if the cancer completely disappears, either on scans or after surgery, and to monitor side effects.
