Summary
This study is testing a new medical device designed to treat hardened, narrowed heart arteries. The device uses sound wave technology to break up tough calcium deposits in the artery wall before a stent is placed. Researchers aim to see if this approach is safe and effective for patients with stable chest pain who need a non-emergency artery-opening procedure.
