Shockwaves to the leg: new approach aims to prevent complications in heart valve patients
NCT ID NCT07205068
Summary
This study is testing if using a special shockwave device on a hardened leg artery before a heart valve procedure makes the process safer. It will compare 100 patients getting the shockwave treatment to those getting the standard access method. The main goal is to see if this reduces bleeding, pain, and other complications at the leg access site.
