First seen Feb 16, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a special fascial therapy to standard shock wave treatment works better for patellar tendinitis (jumper's knee). About 38 adults with knee pain will be split into two groups: one gets the combined therapy, the other gets shock waves alone. Researchers will measure pain and knee function right after treatment and again at 1 and 3 months to see which approach provides longer-lasting relief.
