Summary
This study tests whether extracorporeal shock wave therapy can reduce the thickness of fibrous tissue in the hand caused by palmar fibromatosis (Dupuytren's contracture). Adults aged 18 to 70 with nodules, cords, or contractures will receive either shock wave therapy plus standard care or standard care alone. Researchers will measure changes in lesion thickness using ultrasound and assess hand function with a questionnaire.
