First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests two non-invasive therapies—extracorporeal shock wave therapy and pulse electromagnetic field therapy—for people with lymphedema after breast or gynecologic cancer. Lymphedema causes painful limb swelling that makes daily tasks hard. The goal is to see if these treatments can reduce swelling, soften tissue, and improve quality of life. About 90 adults will participate and be followed over time.
