Which heart monitor is better for shock? new study aims to find out

Summary
This study compares two methods for measuring stroke volume (how much blood the heart pumps) in people with shock. It will enroll 30 critically ill adults in the ICU. Researchers will use both an ultrasound (echocardiography) and a noninvasive monitor (bioreactance) to see how well the measurements match.
