New eye drop trial aims to halt worsening vision in kids

NCT ID NCT06579287

Summary

This study is testing whether a new eye drop called SHJ002 can safely slow down the progression of nearsightedness in children aged 3 to 12. It will compare SHJ002 to atropine, a medication already used for this purpose. Researchers will measure changes in the children's eyeglass prescriptions and the length of their eyes to see which treatment works better.
