New vaccine aims to shield millions from painful shingles
NCT ID NCT07293065
Summary
This large study is testing whether a new shingles vaccine can provide long-term protection against the painful rash and nerve pain caused by the virus. It involves 12,000 adults aged 40 and older who have already received the two-dose vaccine in a previous study. Researchers will follow them for up to three years to see how well the vaccine prevents shingles and its complications.
