Testing a shingles shield for transplant patients

NCT ID NCT06162494

Summary

This study is testing the safety and immune response of the shingles vaccine in young adults who have received organ transplants like a heart, liver, or kidney. Participants will receive two doses of the vaccine and be monitored for side effects and their body's immune reaction over about a year. The goal is to see if the vaccine is safe and effective for people whose immune systems are suppressed by transplant medications.
