Could a common vaccine help lung cancer patients live longer?

Summary

This study aims to see if getting the shingles vaccine can help prevent shingles in people with lung cancer. Researchers will follow 500 adult lung cancer patients who have never had the vaccine to check if they get shingles over a year. They will also track the patients' survival rates to see if the vaccine might have any other health benefits.
