First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 20, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study was designed to measure a protein called SGLT2 in small heart tissue samples taken during aortic valve replacement surgery. Researchers wanted to compare levels between patients with and without diastolic heart failure to better understand how gliflozin drugs work. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
