First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looked at 140 women who had their tubes tied (tubal ligation) to see if the type of surgery affected their sexual quality of life after 6 months. One group had standard belly-button laparoscopy, the other had a newer method through the vagina (vNOTES). Participants filled out a questionnaire about their sexual function before and after surgery. The goal was to see if vNOTES was just as good as the standard method.
