Light therapy may improve sexual health in breast cancer survivors

Summary

This study aims to describe sexual quality of life in 25 women with breast cancer who receive photobiomodulation (a type of light therapy) for genitourinary syndrome of menopause, which includes vaginal dryness and pain during sex. Participants are women aged 18 and older with breast cancer whose symptoms persist despite using standard moisturizers. The study will use a questionnaire to measure sexual satisfaction and other aspects of sexual health.
