Can a psychological profile help stop sex offenders from reoffending?
NCT ID NCT05013996
Summary
This study tested whether a detailed psychological assessment, followed by a review of the results with a therapist, could help men who have committed sexual offenses become more committed to their treatment. The goal was to see if this approach increased their motivation to change and reduced their risk of committing future violence. The trial involved a small group of participants and was terminated early.
