NCT ID NCT05910385
First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looked at 140 women who had their tubes tied (tubal ligation) to see if the way the surgery was done affected their sex life. One group had standard belly-button laparoscopy, the other had a newer method through the vagina (vNOTES). The main goal was to compare sexual quality of life 6 months after surgery using a questionnaire. The study did not test any treatment or cure, just compared two surgical approaches.
