Researchers track hidden toll of cancer surgery on intimate lives
NCT ID NCT04964895
Summary
This study aims to understand how surgery to remove the bladder for cancer affects patients' sexual quality of life in the long term. Researchers followed 50 patients, asking them to complete detailed questionnaires about their sexual function and overall well-being before their surgery and again eight months later. The goal is to gather better information on this often-overlooked side effect to help future patients.
