Summary

This pilot study aims to find out if cold temperatures change how the body burns fat during exercise, and whether that change is different between females and males. Researchers will measure fat burning in 20 healthy adults aged 18-40 during exercise in both normal and cold conditions. The goal is to better understand how sex influences metabolism in cold environments.
