First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study compares two common anesthesia gases, sevoflurane and desflurane, to see which one keeps lungs working better during robotic abdominal surgery. About 50 adults having elective robotic surgery will take part. Researchers will measure airway pressure at several points during the operation to learn which gas may be gentler on the lungs.
