Summary
This large study aims to find the best dose of steroids (corticosteroids) to help adults with severe pneumonia who are in the intensive care unit (ICU). It focuses on pneumonia caused by specific germs like adenovirus and Pneumocystis jirovecii. The main goal is to see which treatment approach best reduces the number of deaths within 28 days.
