Doctors track rare blood disorders to find better treatment paths
NCT ID NCT03576742
Summary
This study created a registry to track children and young adults with severe immune cytopenias—rare conditions where the immune system attacks blood cells. Researchers observed 80 participants over four years to better understand these diseases, improve diagnosis, and document how patients respond to different treatments. The study did not test new treatments but collected information to help guide future care.
