First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding the drug setanaxib to the standard immunotherapy pembrolizumab can better shrink tumors in people with advanced head and neck cancer that has returned or spread. 55 adults whose cancer could not be removed by surgery took part. The main goal was to measure tumor size changes, with researchers also tracking how long the cancer stayed under control.
