Could a tiny oil droplet be the key to faster sinus surgery recovery?
NCT ID NCT06437717
Summary
This study tested whether a specially prepared sesame oil spray could help patients feel better and heal faster after surgery for chronic sinusitis. Researchers gave the spray to 60 adults who had just undergone sinus surgery, alongside their usual nasal rinses. They measured patients' symptoms and looked inside their noses to see if the oil spray improved recovery compared to standard care alone.
