Blood test may replace messy diaries for bedwetting diagnosis
NCT ID NCT07496541
First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a blood test for a substance called copeptin can help doctors diagnose and classify bedwetting in children aged 5 to 18. Currently, diagnosis relies on a detailed urine diary, which is often inaccurate and inconvenient. The goal is to find a simpler, more objective way to identify the cause of bedwetting and guide treatment.
