Two-Punch attack on eye cancer liver spread shows promise in early trial

Summary
This study tests a two-step treatment for people with a rare eye cancer (uveal melanoma) that has spread only to the liver. First, a chemotherapy drug is delivered directly to the liver through a special procedure. Then, a targeted immunotherapy drug is given to help the immune system attack the cancer. The goal is to see if this sequence can control the disease longer. About 18 adults with a specific genetic marker (HLA-A*02:01) will participate.
