New chemo sequence aims to extend life in pancreatic cancer

NCT ID NCT05065801

First seen Mar 08, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving two different chemotherapy regimens one after the other (first Gembrax, then Folfirinox) helps people with metastatic pancreatic cancer live longer without their disease getting worse, compared to using Folfirinox alone. About 162 adults aged 18 to 75 with confirmed metastatic pancreatic cancer will take part. The goal is to see if the sequential approach improves progression-free survival while keeping side effects manageable.
