Doctors test best timing for Life-Saving shock drug
NCT ID NCT06217562
Summary
This study aims to find the best time to add a second blood pressure medication (vasopressin) for patients with septic shock, a life-threatening condition caused by severe infection. It will compare starting this drug at a lower blood pressure threshold versus a higher one, which are both common current practices. The main goal is to see which approach helps more patients survive the first 28 days.
