Summary
This study is analyzing over 31,000 cases of septic shock in Spain from 2018 to 2023 to understand how common it is and why survival rates vary between hospitals. It does not test a new treatment but uses existing hospital records to identify patterns and areas for improvement in care. The goal is to provide hospitals with data to help them save more lives from this severe condition.
