New hope for deadly shock: testing a Double-Drug lifeline
NCT ID NCT07383103
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a second steroid (fludrocortisone) to the standard steroid (hydrocortisone) helps adults with life-threatening septic shock. It will compare the two-drug combination against standard care in 336 patients. The main goal is to see if the combination improves survival 90 days after treatment starts.
