First seen Mar 01, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study watches how the heart responds to two common treatments for septic shock: extra fluids or blood-pressure-raising medications. Researchers will use heart ultrasounds before and after treatment in 180 adults. The goal is to learn which approach works better for improving heart function, not to test a new drug.
