Summary
This study aims to understand how two common emergency treatments for septic shock affect heart function. Researchers will use heart ultrasound to measure changes in 180 patients receiving either intravenous fluids or blood pressure medication. The study observes patients already receiving standard care to compare how each treatment impacts blood flow and heart performance.
