Race to predict sepsis death: new score vs. old standard
NCT ID NCT07271329
Summary
This study aims to see which of two quick scoring tools is better at predicting which emergency room patients with suspected sepsis are most likely to die. Researchers will compare a newer, more detailed score (REDS) against a simpler, widely-used score (qSOFA). The goal is to help doctors identify high-risk patients faster to improve care and outcomes.
