New drug tested to stabilize blood pressure in Life-Threatening infections
NCT ID NCT06608901
Summary
This study is testing an experimental antibody drug called REGN7544 in hospitalized adults with sepsis (a severe body-wide infection) who have developed dangerously low blood pressure that isn't responding well to standard treatments. The research aims to see if the drug can help stabilize blood pressure and reduce the need for other blood pressure medications, while monitoring for side effects. About 76 participants will receive either the study drug or a placebo, along with standard hospital care.
