First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at whether measuring the water outside cells (extracellular water) can help doctors better understand fluid status in adults with sepsis who are in intensive care. Researchers will measure this water in 20 patients receiving standard care. The goal is to see if this measurement can improve how doctors describe and manage hemodynamic instability in sepsis.
