Can a simple Finger-Press test predict sepsis survival?

NCT ID NCT07391098

Summary

This study aims to see if simple, non-invasive checks of blood flow to the skin (like pressing a fingernail) and routine blood tests are linked to how well adults with sepsis recover in the intensive care unit (ICU). Researchers will observe 80 patients, collecting standard clinical data during their first day in the ICU without changing their normal treatment. The goal is to learn if these early signs can help predict patient outcomes like organ recovery and survival.
